Rothesay Classic Trip to Birmingham

Thanks to Trina Pitchforth for organising a great day out for some of Bourton's ladies to the Rothesay Classic Tournament at Edgbaston's Priory Club in Birmingham.

Travelling in style by private coach, the group had courtside seats to make the most of some exciting ladies' doubles matches.

Highlights were watching Barbara Krejcikova who was this year's runner up - beaten in the final by Jelena Ostrapenko - and Harriet Dart's exciting 3-setter which she won 6-3,3-6,6-1 against Ukraine's Anhelina Kalinina which was a perfect way to end the day on a high note.

The group took plenty of food and fizz to keep them going through the day and definitely intend to do it again next year!
